School of Fine Arts & Worship
 SOFAW? You mean my kids lay around all day relaxing on a couch? Hardly. School Of Fine Arts and Worship (SOFAW) is anything but a time of "lounging around." These students are hard at work learning what it takes to be effective Worship leaders to our churches for today and tomorrow. According to one Student, because of SOFAW, "We can worship God not just through Songs, but through Art, Poems, drama and dance. With SOFAW, we can develop and refine our skills there."
All believers are filled with the desire and ability to worship. We are commanded to worship. But to be in the forefront and lead others into worship, to usher others into the Holy presence of God requires years of dedication, training and practice. Although the Levi's of the Old Testament were "born" into the family of worshippers, they spent their whole lives learning and understanding the task of leading the congregation into worship. Calvary is providing these same means to train our youth to worship with all that is in them and to lead others in that worship. Whether it be in vocal or instrumental song, preaching, dance, or drama, SOFAW is dedicated to bringing out the fullest potential of each student for the Glory of God.
